Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Lisa Dionne

Lisa Dionne

I'm a West Michigan artist. I studied art at Grand Rapids Community College and Aquinas College where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus in sculpture and painting. In three dimensional art, I enjoy transforming pieces of steel and stainless steel into unified three dimensional sculptures. My desire is to create a work that not only conveys an idea or emotion, but also draws the viewer around the piece to enjoy various connections and movement of the form. I build my sculptures in my home studio in Michigan. I use an arc welder, various tools, grinders and buffing and grinding machines to build and finish a sculpture. Most of my current pieces are buffed to a natural steel finish and or a natural rust patina...
